10th Bipartite Updates – Nationalized bankers have decided to go on strike against non payment of their due salary after the failure of negotiation with IBA for 10th Bipartite Wages Settlement. The date of strike is decided as 12th November 2014.
Public Sector Bank Union UFBU has advised their members to conduct rallies on 30th October all over India followed by strike on 12th November, 2nd December, 3rd December, 4th and 5th December. This time strike on each zone at different date i.e. on 2nd December in southern region.
I still don’t understand the approach of Banker’s Union in Wage Settlement Talk. They are too late in calling strike. They even threaten the government for indefinite strike if their demands are not met.
