Syndicate Bank got a New CMD very soon, Ministry of Finance has named Bank of Baroda current ED (Executive Director) Sudhir Kumar Jain as the New Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of this fastest growing Public Sector Bank.
S. K. Jain is appointed for the initial Five year in Bank , This is a very good move by government to appoint the CMD for five years. This will fix the responsibility to CMD for performance.
Mr. S. K. Jain was the ED of Bank Baroda which has performed wonderfully in previous few years. It is expected that Ex-ED of Bank of Baroda will bring some big changes in Syndicate Bank.
He started his banking career as a credit manager in Dena Bank in June 1987.A qualified chartered accountant, he has rich knowledge of the banking industry having served in treasury operations, international division, accounts department, retail banking and investor relations.
