Getting a tough competition from eWallet Paytm & Whatsapp upcoming UPI based payment services like Whatsapp Pay, Google Pay has integrated the chat feature. This services is currently rolling out at a slow pace and available only when both the parties in transaction are running the latest version of the Pay app on their mobile devices.

Google Pay chat feature allows users to communicate with their contacts alongside sending and requesting money. It mainly lets users talk about the payments they make using Google Pay. The placement of chat button is kept just next to Send & pay request button on Pay app. Feature also allows to disable or enable the contact.

Paytm and whatsapp chat allows user to send and receive all other message like photo, videos and location along with UPI based payment services.
Let’s see how many users really like and use this feature. Google Pay is having more than 12 millions users in India and clocked 140 million transaction by end of December 2017.
