How To Update Address in SBI Account Online ?

Steps to update address in SBI account online through Internet Banking. State bank of India has provided the various options to update the address in saving or current accounts. Any of the account holder can follow and update the address in the account with the minimum official documents like Address proof, ID proof or any other valid documents. The most reliable way to update the address in SBI account is after visiting the home branch or any of the branch of SBI with self attested address proof with originals.

SBI Address Change Online through SBI Internet Banking

1. Login to Online SBI Internet Banking or Click here
2. Go to profile Tab
3. Enter your profile password
4. Click on option Change/Update Address
5. Upload your address proof
6. Submit

How To Check the Address Change ?

After updating the address, you may check it online. Follow the steps below to check the change in address online –

1. Log  to your Online SBI Internet Banking
2. Go to the account statement tab and select the account number.
3. Generate Statement of any period
4. Check the Address

How To Update Address Via Email ?

SBI has no option to update the address change via Email.

Documents Require to Update the Address

Following documents are require to update the address. A scan copy will be required to upload online if updated via Internet banking. The OVDs are :

1. Aadhar Card.
2. Voter ID Card.
3. Passport.
4. Utility bills not more than two months old of any service provider (electricity, telephone, postpaid mobile phone, piped gas, water bill).
5. Job card issued by NREGA duly signed by an officer of the State Government.
6. Property or Municipal Tax Receipt.
7. Letter of allotment of accommodation from employer issued by State or central government.
