DDA Housing Scheme 2014 – Delhi Development Authority has launched much awaited ‘Housing Scheme 2014‘ – offering over 25,034 flats across various categories including 700 EWS (Economic Weaker Section) flats.
This scheme was long awaited and finally got approval of Government. Application form along with details will be available for sale from 01st September. The new scheme offers flats ranging from Rs 7 lakh to Rs 1.2 crore across categories, viz – EWS, LIG, MIG, HIG, Janta flats and one-room apartments.
This time DDA has introduced the online form filling concept with tie up with various banks. This will bring greater transparency in allotment process and easy refund in case of non allotment.

The cost of LIG DDA flat would be ranged between 12-14 lacs
MIG flats will be around 45 to 55 lakhs.
HIG flats will cost around Rs1.2 Crore.
EWS category (700 flats ) which will cost around 6 lakhs.
The location of DDA flats in DDA scheme 2014 will be Rohini, Dwarka, Narela and Siraspur
Carpet Area Of DDA Flats
According to sources the carpet area for LIG flats is 28 Square Meter with maintenance of flats for 30 years.
To apply, one will have to deposit Rs 1 lakh as registration amount which will be returned if the flat is not allotted. The registration amount for EWS flats is Rs 10,000.

One Great News for Every INDIAN : There will be no reservation for the residents of Delhi in allotment of flats. All Indian citizens above the age of 18 are eligible to apply.
Possession of DDA flats :
DDA has cleared that all the flats will be allotted latest by March 2015 and possession will be given within one year from allotment.

In order to prevent fake identity documents being used for filing multiple applications and attempts by profiteers to corner more than one flat for selling them at a premium the applicant for DDA flats will have to mandatory provide PAN Card and Aadhar Card along with the application.
Any person who or his/her spouse own flats in Delhi are not eligible for this Scheme.
Lock in Period of DDA flats
This must be remembered that there will be a five-year lock-in period for the resale of alloted flats

The DDA has relaxed the eligibility criteria for EWS flat applicants. As per DDA Officials “There will not be any financial condition for EWS flat applicants”. Such type of flats may be purchased by any person.
