Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared the results of Typing Test for The Bi-Monthly Typewriting Test, (March, 2011) which was held at Delhi centre. Test was little tough for the candidates and Out of 106 candidates who appeared in the said Typewriting Test at Delhi Centre, only 15 candidates have qualified in the said test and 11 candidates are deemed to have made a genuine attempt.
After seeing such a level of test I came to the solution that it will also be tougher for the successful candidates of LDC & DEO. If you guys have not started the practice of Typing test for LDC and DEO exam then start practicing for that.
Requirement of Typing Test

The ‘Speed of 8000 key depressions per hour on Computer’ the correct entry of all the key depressions in computer will be 15 (Fifteen) minutes and printed passage of running text matter in English containing about 2000-2200 strokes/key-depressions would be given to each candidate who would enter the same in the Computer.

The “Data Entry Speed” Skill Test would be of qualifying nature. Candidates allowed to take this test, will have to qualify the test at the prescribed speed on Computer
- English Typing @ 35 w.p.m within the time frame of 10 minutes (30 minutes for VH candidates)

Hindi Typing @ 30 w.p.m. within 10 minutes (30 minutes for VH candidates)

It is said that the 35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. corresponds to 10500 Key Depressions Per Hour/9000 Key Depressions Per Hour on an average of 5 key depressions for each word will be considered.
